Walking in South East Crete

Walking in South-East Crete - 7 nights from £1095pp

Eastern Crete is vastly different from the west. The landscape is less mountainous but hillier, with a multitude of small gorges and lost valleys where you find old stone villages blending harmoniously with a wild, and often mysterious, landscape and simplistic whitewashed villages. During this tour we will encounter working shepherd communities, abandoned Minoan villages, frescoed Byzantine chapels and medieval monasteries.

Our walks in South-East Crete can be described as easy to medium with walks between 6 to 12 kilometres a day. Walking boots are advisable due to uneven terrain and clients should be in good health.
