Along the 53-km route you’ll discover over 100 plaques and monuments to the Heroes & Legends that helped establish Peace between two great nations.
Old Fort Erie: Experience the sights and sounds of the Fort under siege at this War of 1812 national Historic site. Choose your side! Join british or American soldiers on a tour of the grounds and authentic buildings. Don’t miss the musket demonstrations!
Laura Secord Homestead: be immersed in the lives of Laura and other extraordinary women of her time, at this restored 1812 Homestead and Chapel. Interpreters will entertain you with the legend of Canada’s favorite heroine.
McFarland House: Experience gracious living 1800s style with a tour of this beautiful Georgian home. Then relax in our new tea Room and choose from delicious
home baked goods, premium loose teas or Niagara wines.
Mackenzie Printery: Learn the secrets behind the original text message! try your hand at setting type or operate one of the presses, in the home of rebel editor William Lyon Mackenzie.
Admission to all 4 Niagara Heritage Trail attractions: Old Fort Erie, Laura Secord Homestead, McFarland House and the Mackenzie Printery & Newspaper Museum.
