Learn how to make the typical Italian dishes and all its secrets with fun and professionalism. The time of the lesson is about 2 hours and it takes place in a comfortable place and informal in the heart of Florence, directly into the chef's kitchen.

First step: grocery shopping at the central market! You will go shopping with the chef at the central market picking up the ingredients for your lunch. You will meet the butchers, the bakers, and the farmers selling vegetables from their gardens.

The lesson is divided into two stages. First stage: you will reach the chef's kitchen and you begin to wash, cut and cook your own dish driven by the chef. During the lesson you will hear the history of the dish and some theory about the kitchen. We use only fresh ingredients of the season in progress and we usually prepare fresh pasta (spaghetti, tagliolini, tagliatelle, and tortellini ecc), gnocchi, risotto, bruschetta, sauces for the pasta (tomato sauce, ragù bolognese, pesto ecc) meat, ?sh and a fresh dessert. Each menu includes three preparations. Second stage: after the ?rst stage, you create your own dish with a beautiful decoration and design with the help of the chef. During the dinner, you taste your dish with a glass of wine.

Policies

Guests are requested to be at the meeting point 15 minutes before departure time.

*On Sundays and bank holidays, when the central market is closed, clients will enjoy a special introduction and extra tasting at the cooking class.
