Passing the border into Germany we drive up to the former village of Obersalzberg, then further towards the Lake Königssee. Known as, ‘The prettiest lake in Germany’, it is part of the Berchtesgaden National Park. Here you will enjoy marveling at the scenery with the Bavarian mountains towering above you, providing a magnificent backdrop to the lake. Our next stop is the charming village of Berchtesgaden, nestled into the foothills of the surrounding mountains. Enjoy a pleasant stroll through the friendly town Berchtesgaden with its historical buildings, churches, shops and perhaps try a local specialty or two!
Pick up from hotels within Salzburg city; Ticket for public bus lines 1–28 for the date of the tour; Guided Tour.
Languages: German, English, Spanish, Italian, French; Audio commentary in 9 languages (German, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese and Chinese) and a special “Sound of Music” channel in English (channel 10) and Spanish (channel 11).

Departs from: office/bus terminal at Mirabellplatz 2, 5020 Salzburg if you are not getting picked up. Please arrive 15 minutes prior the tour.
This tour crosses into Germany. Please bring a passport or visa.
Children younger than 4 years old may participate for free.
Tour tickets are valid for all city buses for the entire day - lines no. 1-28 within the Salzburg city limits.
