All Inclusive Kos
The third largest of the Dodecanese islands, Kos is famed for its golden sandy beaches, tranquil villages, historic sites and fantastic nightlife.
Kos Town is a shopper’s paradise, full of jewellers, designer boutiques and outlets selling textiles, embroideries, leather goods, ceramics, paintings and hand-carved sculptures. All along the harbour-front and narrow streets you will find places to wine, dine and dance and each morning an armada of tourist boats set sail for the neighbouring islands of Kalymnos, Pserimos, Leros and Patmos. You can also reach Rhodes in two hours by hydrofoil.
There are many ancient sites to explore including the Asclepion where the great temple of the god of medicine lies, dating back to the 4th century BC. Mountain villages and seaside hamlets are perfect for spending lazy lunchtimes sampling the mouth-watering local cuisine but the islands main attraction must be the sun-kissed beaches. The most popular beaches are located midway between Kardamena and Kefalos where you will find sun beds and water sports but if it's a quiet beach you are looking for then head for the west coast.
