Richard III and the Wars of the Roses

Richard III and the Wars of the Roses - 2 nights from £299

Richard III is one of England’s most notorious kings. His death on the battlefield at Bosworth in 1485 ended the long Plantagenet reign and heralded the start of the Tudor dynasty. This tour trances Richard’s trail through Leicester to Bosworth Field before looking to Stoke, where Henry Tudor successfully defended his newly won crown, with talks from Julian Humphrys, of the Battlefields Trust, and historian Mike Ingram or Dr Phil Stone, of the Richard III Society.
